ST. JOHN UMC HAS A NEW LOOK INSIDE

INTERIOR OF ST. JOHN UMCIn 2014, a team of volunteers from East Ohio traveled to Harrisburg, Liberia. One project they completed was installing new pews in the church. These pews were donated by Bucyrus United Methodist in Ohio, a sister church to St. John United Methodist in Liberia. Bucyrus also had two members on the team; Nathan Brause, a corn and wheat farmer worked and trained Liberian farmers how to operate, maintain the farm tractor and ways of planting crops using small planters. The other member on the team from Bucyrus was Sharon Hahn, she runs an upholstery business in Bucyrus, Ohio, and she went specifically to help install the pews in the sanctuary which she did with reverence and conviction. Thanks to Pastor Mike Corwin, our sisters and brothers at Bucyrus United Methodist Church for their prayers and financial support to the Farmer-to-Farmer Ministry.
